Iconic rockers Cheap Trick to play Bluestem
Classic rock band Cheap Trick brings the hits to Bluestem Amphitheater on Aug. 30.
The group exploded onto radio in 1977 with hits “I Want You to Want Me” and “Hello There” and would follow that the next year with “Surrender”. In 1979, the band released its iconic album “Cheap Trick at Budokan”. In 2016, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The lineup features original members Robin Zander, Rick Nielsen and Tom Petersson.
Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m., Friday, ranging from $35 to $75, plus fees.
