Kids invited to participate in Fargo Library production of "Wizard of Oz"

FARGO—The Fargo Public Library invites kids to "follow the yellow brick road" this winter on their way to a production of "The Wizard of Oz". Organizers are looking for cast and crew, ages 7 to 12, for the performance on March 26 at The Stage at Island Park.

Rehearsals start at 4:30 p.m., Jan. 11, at the Main Library. In addition to actors, kids can work behind the scenes as set designers, builders, painters and yellow brick makers.

Participants will learn how to to express themselves creatively, improve literacy through the read-aloud experience, build their self-confidence and make new friends.
