Rollover crash kills ND man in Pembina County

WALHALLA, N.D. -- A 53-year-old pickup driver from Walhalla was killed after he lost control of his vehicle Wednesday afternoon, April 18, about four miles southeast of Walhalla.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Richard White attempted to correct the vehicle on a curve while driving east just after 2 p.m. on Pembina County Road 1. White was ejected after vehicle veered into the ditch and overturned. The pickup then caught fire and burned.

White was transported to a Cavalier hospital where he died, the patrol said.
