Cabin Fever lineup helps music fans keep cool

Gabriel Douglas plays the third installment of the Cabin Fever Concert Series Sunday night at Fargo Brewing Company. Special to The Forum

FARGO—When Fargo Brewing Company teamed up with event promoter Jade Presents, the two sides probably weren't thinking how spot-on their Cabin Fever Concert Series name would be.

After a frigid week during which the daily high temperature was once a record low maximum, this Sunday's 20-degree forecast will get some music fans out of the house to grab a cold one.

Minneapolis singer/songwriter Gabriel Douglas headlines the third installment of the Cabin Fever Concert Series.

Best known as the frontman for the stomp-rock, drinking band, 4ontheFloor, Douglas shows off a quieter, but no less energetic solo side Sunday night.

Previous shows in the series featured banjo duo The Lowest Pair and a sold-out area debut by country singer Colter Wall.

Sunday's show is free, so getting tickets won't be a problem, just get there early enough as the taproom capacity caps off at an intimate 80.

A couple of mid-February shows (Zach Deputy on Feb. 10 and Lazy Lightning 420 on Feb. 17) are also on the books. Carly Bishoff with Jade Presents says more shows are in the works and even if they fall outside the cozy confines of Cabin Fever, they'll go down smooth with a brew.
