Bison women's golf team moves up a spot at NCAA regional

MADISON, Wis.—North Dakota State's women's golf team shot 17 strokes better Tuesday to move up one spot on the second day of the NCAA Regional Tournament at University Ridge Golf Course.

The Bison carded a second-day total of 298, improving upon Monday's 313, to move up to 17th place—seven strokes better than last-place IUPUI. The top six teams advance to the national tournament.

NDSU's Natalie Roth carded a second-day score of 72 to move into a tie for 52nd place. Teammate Taylor McCorkle also carded a 72 to move into a tie for 65th place.
